iOS Unlock for iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS

As we promised, we would let you know when the iOS Unlock was available. Sorry for our delay, been a busy few days and not able to update the site.

In order to do the unlock, you will need to upgrade to iOS 4.2.1 and either update the baseband with it to 06.15 or restore a custom IPSW to your iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS that doesn’t include the baseband update so you stay at 05.13 or 05.14.

After which you can head on over to the source link and download the appropriate tools to proceed with the unlock as well as the jailbreak. More info can also be found on that site, home of the iPhone-Dev team, who if it wasn’t for them, none of this would be as easy as it is.
