According to a tipster, MTV has began to layoff employees, not on their television side, but on their music side. This goes along with a rumour from before that MTV would begin laying people off in early December, which would be now, and another stage that will be happening in January. Now whether it happens in January again, time will tell, we can’t make that comment right now as it is not January yet.
It’s not really a big surprise to see MTV laying off employees on the music side of things, have you turned to MTV lately on your television? Well if you haven’t or by chance you don’t get MTV, there really isn’t a lot of music going on, it seems to have turned from MTV into RTY, reality television. Once again, that is not our place to comment on, we just see it the way it is and they really seem to have strayed away from the music business and switched over to the reality tv scene, takes away from what MTV was originally brought out to be.
When January comes, we will be sure to update you all on this matter. We might not agree what MTV has turned into, but it still doesn’t take away the fact that its quite possible if they didn’t go this direction, these unfortunate people would still have a job, but MTV saw what most fans wanted and ran with it, its just sad to see it have to affect these unfortunate people.
