According to sources, Mr. Archuleta has dropped out of Murray High during the American Idol season and reports state that he hasn’t signed back up for his senior year which starts August 25th since the American Idol tour continues on until September. Reports state that Davide decided to drop out and become home school by his dad Jeff so that he has more time to focus and work on his upcoming album. David’s representatives haven’t commented on this information yet, but give it time.
Is it common for the young folks from American Idol to give up their schooling to be a star? Who knows, but it doesn’t seem like good practice to American Idol to be allowing this, there should be a form signed at auditions stating that you will agree to finish high school and graduate, than again, whats the difference of going to a real school or being home schooled?
