Knight Rider Given the Green Light

Knight Rider has been given the green light by NBC after the hit movie aired back in February. NBC has decided to take the next step and turn this into a full blown series with speculation that it will air on Friday nights. The reason for this decision was simple, the made for television ratings were astonishing, meaning people would likely keep the ratings up with a hit tv series made from it. Val Kilmer will be the voice of the infamous KITT. Some food for thought, how long will the series last with the way gas prices are going? I am sure that Mustang will eat up a lot of gas, but I some how don’t think NBC will really care. More to come regarding this when NBC reveals their 2008-2009 schedule tomorrow.
