Reports state that Mariah Carey is going to be a guest judge on American Idol this week alongside Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, and Simon Cowell. The reason for her to be on the show is apparently is part of the promotion of her new CD “E=MC2″, which is set to debut April 15th.
Seems like American Idol is a good start to promoting movies and new music releases, good thinking Mariah, you were thinking when you realised how the younger audience aswell as the already established audience of American Idol will see you and find out that your new CD is coming out, now the question is, will they actually go buy it in stores, iTunes or obtain it illegally? Hopefully it will be legally atleast.
