This is some very disturbing news that should never have happened. According to reports, a child reported an abduction of his 9 year old friend just for the sake of doing it. The children were apparently playing around when the 9 year old boy, Zane Newton, had fell into a hole, and had the surrounding dirt collapse on his, completley covering his body.The other boy with Newton who reported the abduction, told police that a man wearing a mask drove up in a black car, opened fire on the and drove off with Newton.
Police issued a 2 state amber alert, later to find out the boy made up the story. Detectives discovered Newton completley covered by dirt in a hole a block or so from his house. This is very disturbing, what was going through the one boys head to tell police that Newton was abducted after the 2 being shot at. Investigators said that there was no evidence claiming that a shooting or kidnapping had taken place, but had to issue the amber alert just incase it was real. Please kids, don’t get everyone up in arms and worried about someone by saying there has been an abduction, just tell the truth, even though the truth would have been tragic, but who knows, if he had told the truth, Newton may still be alive today. Don’t be going around making up stories that your friend has been kidnapped after a shooting when you know it would be better off to just say what really happened.
