Macbook Owner Misses Flight

airport.jpgThis is a great example of why technology sometimes isn’t the greatest. According to recent reports, a person recently was going through airport security with their sleek and stylish brand new Apple Macbook Air when bells and whistles started going off. Not the kind that set the security alarm off, but the ones in the heads of the airport security personalle. The laptop was put onto the scanner and than taken off and the user questioned, resulting in a long holdup and ending up missing there flight.

Apparently the airport security personelle didn’t believe that the sleek and thin laptop was real, due to the lack of a drive and ports on the back. Thankfully some colleagues who are in the know, explained it in very simple terms to other colleagues what a Solid State Drive is, and the user was able to pass through and be on his way.
